Who we are

QISH Rehabilitation Center – QRC is an initiative of Qatar Institute of Speech and Hearing(QISH) incepted in the year 2013 under the aegis of Ministry of Education and Higher Education Qatar. QRC is dedicated to serve special children and youth with diverse range of development and educational needs including Autism, Mental Retardation, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, Learning Difficulties and multiple disabilities which include intellectual, physical and neuro-developmental disorders.

70+ students were mainstreamed and got admission in normal schools.

To become the premier organization in the State of Qatar that develops individuals with special needs to reach their maximum potential so that they can lead a near normal, dignified, and independent life as integral members of society.

MISSION

QRC aims to equip the children with the best practices in education, training, support services, formal and non-formal learning, play-based learning approach so that they can be mainstreamed or be integrated in regular schools and become admirable citizens of the global world.

We aim to achieve our mission through:

Empowering children with special needs, their parents and caregivers as well as other professionals though workshops, education and training.

Conduct various awareness programs regularly to highlight the needs and expectations of children with disabilities and help to increase information dissemination and understanding of the disorder in our society.

Provide a wide range of services that will enable children with special needs to maximize their full potentials.
