SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

The Special Education Department offers preschool, unique education plans and services, both group and individual sessions. The intervention and educational strategies designed to meet the holistic development of each child. The program involves parents where the parent continues it at home, based upon the recommendations and suggestions of the specialists.

Preschool has Arabic & Non-Arabic classes. Each section divided into different levels wherein students placed according to their cognitive abilities, performances/behavior, and similar ages. We aim for integration; thus, we could mainstream 40-50% of our kids annually. We also have a pre-vocational program for ten years old and above.

The Special Education program uses various references as the curriculum guide; Formal (pre-academic) & non-formal way of learning and community integration, wherein the children given the opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the outside world.

Arabic and English Afternoon Class

Due to parents' demands and requests, we have a new class schedule for the Arabic and English section from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday. Also, from September 2021, an additional class scheduled for the Arabic and English from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday. Similar classroom strategies implemented for both the planned education program, like in the morning section.
